Multiple Coyote Sightings Reported In Morristown

Police have issued an alert advising the public that there have been a number of recent coyote sightings.

There were multiple coyote sightings in Morristown over the weekend, police said.

A coyote was seen near Town Hall and again at Willard Place Saturday. It was not clear if this was a sighting of the same animal. The town's animal control officer has been notified of the sightings, police also said.

The public is urged to contact the police immediately if a coyote is seen.
